Joy or Pain? The show opens next Wednesday at Eleven and hanging day tomorrow. There’s a little catalogue… but there is also a book, in the same vein as the original Saltwater books. ie; slightly shorter than A3 format and 20 pages of stiffish. This is of course the cover. Joy I guess.

When I had the gallery this was one my favourite pictures in its Diasec gloriousness nearly 6 foot wide. The Milky Way is how I always think… however it’s not. It’s the very opposite, looking down.
With Shah by the inland sea between Saudi and Qatar. He was acknowledged by the rest as being the best on the dunes his land cruiser. It was fantastic skill.
These are pink footed geese over North Norfolk.
It’s a place alright… but really it’s a place in time. Its grandeur is in fact a result of the time of day and the season… spring of course. The rest of its make up is very transitory; a path through the sand dunes, that’s all.
The new project is all about man made space and all the level of control entailed. In this case its mostly controlling the water of The Fens and the coast where I live in North Norfolk; straight lines, a sense of order certainly. But equally the place seems to reveal sometimes a sense of something new……
Shanghai. This ain’t nothing compared to the guy who was carrying 8 25 foot scaffolding poles…. and note the wood.
Well just when you think you are the only photographer around…..
