Photography and Sense of Place

One day photography courses in Norfolk.
This autumn I shall be running a series of one day courses on photography. These extend from the days some of you will remember at the gallery where we got to grips with ideas of place, sense of belonging and how to take nice pictures.

What is it that we are taking pictures of? Why are we doing it and how do we want to display the results? This is a day that certainly nods at the technique, but is primarily about the more interesting notions that surround our reasons for picking up the camera in the first place. Whether using a large format plate camera, high end digital, black and white or just the camera on your phone, we will discuss the elements that will help you take better pictures.

The backbone of each day is a walk through the grounds and the organisation offered by Justine and Philippa who will make sure that we have all we need.
